Monterey Whalefest 2016 Event Information

Very soon, I’ll be calling Monterey home.  This weekend, while planning my upcoming move and researching some of the popular “Things to Do in Monterey,” I came across this incredible local festival.  Apparently, Monterey Whalefest is kind of a big deal.  All in the name of welcoming back the gray whales to our beautiful bay, this Monterey event is the perfect way for families to spend the weekend.

“This free fun and educational, interactive family event for all ages celebrates the migration of the gray whales!  The event also benefits many local and national marine organizations that inspire, educate, explore, and empower the public to protect the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.”

The weekend will be filled with live entertainment, fun for the kids, educational exhibits, and load of other activities.  If you are one of my Coastal California fans, you should definitely try to attend.  Check out the details here:
