The force is with them!

They may still be in diapers, but these adorable little ones are clearly Star Wars fans in training.

For some expectant moms and dads, introducing their kids to the ever-growing collection of Star Wars films is one of those parenting milestones they look forward to most.  Curling up on the couch with a bucket of popcorn and The Empire Strikes Back, listening to a preschooler translate just what, exactly, Chewbacca is saying.

Over the years we’ve seen plenty of evidence: Star Wars-themed pregnancy announcements, Darth Vader onesies, even a pretty impressive Death Star baby bump.

I’m not sure we’ve seen anything quite as cute as this, though.  Captured by some very talented, not to mention incredibly creative, photographers, these little Jedis and Leias – and a couple of Yodas, too, of course – are impossible to resist.

Newborn and baby shoots are always so precious, but it’s great to see families and photographers having a little fun with them, too.

With Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens set to hit theaters next month, you’re not likely to find a countdown cuter than this one.
